Facebook and Instagram ads for a massage or spa business
Meta is where spa offers move, and where spa ads get rejected more than almost any local trade. Massage sits inside two sensitive areas at once, health and body. The rejections are predictable: bare backs and oiled skin, before-and-after photos, promises to fix pain, and copy that addresses the viewer's body directly.
What passes is the room. A made table under low light with nobody in frame. Hands on a clothed shoulder. A face at rest from the chest up. Copy about the service and the price rather than the person.
Budget $15 to $25 a day for prospecting in an eight to twelve mile radius and $5 to $10 for retargeting booking-page visitors. Cost per booked appointment usually falls between $30 and $80. The mistake is the giveaway, because a free massage contest collects cheap reactions and almost no clients. Two weeks in, working means bookings you can trace to an ad. The Facebook and Instagram guide has the creative rules.
